Want: Andres Gallardo

I've been looking for a porcelain elephant necklace for the past month, and these ones by Andres Gallardo are exactly what I want. All of them.

Lana Del Ray and the Blue Eagle

I may have to hit up Salvation Army at some point and figure out how to DIY my porcelain figurine obsession, but until then I think I've found the best alternative via Ackilee on etsy. Simple but super cute (and affordable!)

Summer To Do List

To Do:
1. Write more
2. Read more
3. Learn Photoshop
4. Can fresh vegetables
5. Figure my life out

Sitting in the grass at Pratt.

I made a clover flower necklace like I used to when I was a kid. I think it goes pretty well with the stone necklace I made for my etsy shop.

Another stone necklace with neon pink rope! After a long photo shoot I can't get the colors quite right--both the pink and blue are more vibrant. This is my favorite item in my shop right now.

Polka dot plimsols!

Envelopes I made out of origami paper and washi tape for my sticker packs.

Fox with a diamond nose sticker.

Shop Update: Fringe Tee

New shirt up on etsy!

We took some action shots to show off the full twirling abilities of the fringe.

This face as well as the others I'm making in these pictures are my go-to picture-taking faces and one of the reasons why I am so un-photogenic.

I bought this t-shirt at Salvation Army a few years ago and turned it into a crop top with fringe, and I never wear it so I figured I'd throw it up on the shop! It's cute and, as you can see in the above pictures, fun to wear, so it needs to be fully appreciated!

Misery Loves Company & Coffee Shops

Being with friends who are also unemployed and/or completely apprehensive about the future makes the job search slightly less painful. That is all the insight I have on that. Now back to Craigslist.

Julie Thevenot at the Brooklyn Flea

The t-shirt I bought plus a weird neon rope necklace I made but have not quite finished.
I'm always looking for a great graphic tee that is both original and just the right cut, and bonus points if it's only $10. The one I bought is from Julie Thevenot's old collection, but her new stuff is great too.

Sarah Needs a Job

I saw this about a year ago in Williamsburg. Thinking this might be my next approach.

Anyone want to hire me? I will
  1. Walk your dog
  2. Write you poetry
  3. Burp your babies
  4. Make you lemonade
  5. Paint your house
  6. Pet your head

Want: Marios

I think the pleated bags are my favorite (and look at those heels they're styled with!) But I also just want any article of clothing with a digital landscape print. Images via No. 6 Daily.

The Brooklyn Flea

I went over to the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene today and took some pictures! I commandeered my roommate's SLR, so I'm going to be posting real pictures instead of just Instagram faux-lga shots. Clearly I need more time to play with the settings, but they will only get better! Have faith!

My Life of Late: Sleep Deprivation + Encroaching Unemployment

Things That Are Wrong:
1) Writing complete sentences feels burdensome
2) T-2 days until unemployment
3) Job search sucking out my soul
4) Leg cramp indicative of unknown vitamin deficiency
5) Societal notion of success too deeply ingrained in my brain.

Want: Adieu

I've been coveting Adieu's t-shirts for years. Not only are their graphics lovely, but the boxy fit is perfect. They're now available at ASOS, if you've been on a desperate search for the perfect graphic tee (which I always am).
